Each of the songs is a self-contained creation about certain moments in her life: Corona, memories, love, fear, darkness, lack, gratitude, self-reflection, judgments, plastic surgery, metaphors, choices, freedom… It is an array of jazz, folk, neo soul, riffs and r&b - full of cluster harmonies with contributions by Ruben Hein, Artvark Saxophone Quartet and Woodcraft.

Koosje is a (Dutch) singer-songwriter with an emphasis on Neo Soul, Jazz Pop and Folk - and also on fine harmonies and vocal freedom.
She was born into a theatrical family, her father being a director and her mother a drama teacher. Koosje studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory - Jazz Vocals department and graduated with a 10 for her final exam. It's Time is her album debut. ... more
